Immanuel Christian School Prayer Guide January 13, 2014 – January 31, 2014 ICS 2013-14 Bonus Verse: “With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:10-11 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The New Year of 2014 has begun – Please be praying for our teachers and students as we get back into full swing after our Christmas break, for energy and enthusiasm and focus. The end of the quarter will be here soon. Please pray for all of the students as they review and prepare for exams and verse recitations. God has been faithful in so many ways this year and we are very grateful for His provisions. Welcoming New Students – Please pray for our new students who started after Christmas break. We have two new students in 1B, one student in 2A, and one student in 4A. Pray for their adjustment, making new friends, and success in this transition. Parents in Prayer Weekly Meetings – We are so encouraged by the parents who faithfully pray for the needs of our school on Tuesday mornings. Please plan to join these parents who meet to pray each Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m., in B-201, in the 8th grade hallway upstairs. Praying for our students, teachers, staff and our school activities is a very important ministry, so that we can be effective in our mission to inspire godliness and purpose in these young lives. If you have a prayer request to submit for this group to pray for, please click here. Your request will be emailed to the parent in charge of the Parents in Prayer group, as well as to the ICS staff person who compiles the Prayer Guide. First Look Friday Open Houses – We are thankful for a good response to the First Look Fridays so far. Pray especially about the expansion of our kindergarten program. Our next First Look Friday will be January 24.
