The students have voted... they will be donating their funds towards the swing phase of the playground. We are thankful the 8th graders have decided to bless all future students with their gift towards improving our playground. At this time we are only $6800 away from complete installation of the swings. If you would like to help us reach our need of $6800, please email Mr. Pinkley. Fortresses, Lies and Addictions...Read More by Mr. Danish How are fortresses, lies and addictions alike? This is a question I have been discussing with students over the past six months. You would be amazed how early in life children understand the meaning of the word "addiction." This is central to the Apostle Paul's message concerning the weapons of "divine" power (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Fortresses, lies and addictions are similar because they are built up over time and hard to tear down.... Click here to read more. Volunteer & Employment Opportunities

Lunch Help Needed on Tuesdays Help is needed on Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the lunchroom. Please email Carroll Olson if you are able to serve in this way. Hot Lunch Help Needed on Wednesdays  Servers Needed: We are in need of 5 to 6 parents to serve hot lunch each week on Wednesdays. It is a once-a-month commitment for about 2 ½ hours on Wednesdays between 11:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. It is a great way to fulfill your parent service hours. It is always a blessing to serve side by side as a team interacting with the students and other ICS parents. We'll even treat you to lunch. Contact Lori Slattery.  Shoppers Needed: We also need volunteer shoppers (5) for drinks and snacks for the hot lunch program. Again, this is a once-a-month commitment with the added flexibility of shopping and delivering the goods to ICS at your convenience. This is a great way to earn parent service hours. For interest in any of the Hot Lunch openings please, e-mail Lori Slattery or call her cell at 703-338-8828. Support ICS Donate Online ParentsWeb - District Code ICS-VA Free Money Programs
