Ever wondered how celebrities seem to have short hair one day and bouncing, luscious locks the next? Chances are, they are having hair extensions fitted (yes, ladies even the ones who tell us they are ‘worth it’ in the shampoo ads). And, it’s not just the celebrities who are doing it either explains Stephanie Smith who runs her full service hair salon in Tilehurst specialises in all things extesion related! Since opening her salon two years ago, the former Willink pupil tells us that demand for longer , fuller locks has soared. “People are choosing to extend their hair for various reasons. For some it maybe because they have short hair and want to add length and for others it could be that they have very thin hair and they want to give it volume - as quite often hair can thin after childbirth or with age, and by adding hair extensions, they can return to a more youthful head of hair!” Like most products and technologies, over the years, hair extensions have come a long way too. Firstly, the hair quality itself has improved -

Nano ring hair extensions are suitable for both fine, medium and thick hair, and due to the ultra small size of the attachments it is possible to work higher up on the head to disguise top layers without them being seen. They are almost totally undetectable making them the perfect choice for fine hair too. Even if the bonds are exposed the tiny rings remain invisible, meaning your hair extension secret remains just that!
