The Town of Floyd is introducing “A Small Town Summer”. A series of free events taking place in The Warren G Lineberry Park (downtown Floyd) throughout the summer on Thursday evenings. The Floyd Plein Air Festival, August 14-19 is a new and exciting event where artists are invite to join fellow national and regional painters for a WEEK of plein air painting in sites across beautiful Floyd County, Virginia! Cirque Du Floyd @ Chantilly Farms - August 19, 4:00 pm 10:00 pm The event will feature an evening performance from New York City based acrobatic aerial cirque performers, ‘ImaginAerial’. Performing to international acclaim and sold out audiences around the globe, the group’s dynamic style of storytelling and distinctive acrobatics in the air and on the ground have made ImaginAerial one of the most sought after performance companies of

its kind. StoryUp, an aerial storytelling troop based in North Carolina, will be presenting aweinspiring tales with a unique twist that will capture the imagination of children and adults alike! Leading up to the evening’s spectacular aerial cirque performances, the event will feature captivating performance artists, roaming performers, live music, great food, beer/wine garden, activities for all ages and lots more excitement!
