On the Cover Strongsville’s Business and Community Leaders gathered at

Shinto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar to smile for the camera. Gratitude, pureness of heart, living in peace and prosperity with altruistic intentions; these principles laid the foundation upon which Sheng Long Yu established the first Shinto location in October of 2004 in Strongsville. Since then, he has steadily grown his business to encompass multiple restaurants in

Northeast Ohio including a second Shinto location in Westlake which opened in September of 2020. Even after 20+ years in the restaurant industry, Mr. Yu has never wavered in his belief in the virtues which have guided him from the beginning. It is their hope that you leave Shinto with the same sense of joy and fulfillment. Shinto uses only the highest quality seafood, steaks, and chicken in the table-side preparation of all hibachi orders. All their sushi offerings are

prepared from seafood that is sourced in from around the world several times each week to offer you the freshest dining experience possible. Enjoy Shinto, the “Way of the Gods”!
