Greetings Sorors and Amicae! This is a reminder relative to the Illinois State Leadership Academy’s Winter Workshop Series. As you prepare for Founders’ Day activities and Finer Womanhood celebrations, your opportunity to learn will not stop. With that being said, Sorors and Amicae, you have a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge of the sisterhood by attending the workshop series hosted by the Illinois State Leadership Academy. Please keep in mind that the leadership academy was created in order to provide embellishment exclusively for members and the auxiliary groups of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Along with the workshops, the Undergraduate Sorors will have an opportunity to attend a Career Development Center. Individuals will obtain assistance with resume writing; interviewing; job coaching; strategic job search activities; and more. Undergraduate attendees are encouraged to submit their resume to zpbleadershipacademy@yahoo.com on or before Monday, February 4, 2013 for review prior to the workshop. Sorors will have an opportunity to meet one on one with experienced career counselors. The Illinois State Director, Soror/Friend Connie V. Pugh, will conduct a mandatory Basilei workshop. All Chapter Basilei (as well as First, Second, and Third Anti-Basilei) are expected to attend the workshop. The pre-registration fee is $10.00 (includes lunch) per Soror/Amicae provided envelopes are postmarked on or before January 27, 2013. After January 27th Sorors and Amicae are required to register on-site. The on-site registration fee is $15.00 (cash only).
