Main responsibilities: Under the general authority of the Director of the UNESCO IITE and the supervision of the Knowledge Services Team Leader the Senior Specialist of the Knowledge Services Team will fulfill the following duties:

Contribute to the implementation of IITE Knowledge Management Strategy. Conduct research and collect advanced international best practices in the use of ICT in education. Provide input into the content areas of IITE Knowledge base: maintain and update the information. Manage the content of IITE website: identify and develop new content; review submitted content. Draw up contractual agreements and terms of reference, including preparation of supporting documents and related administrative forms, essential analytical background/justification for successful activity implementation.
• Liaise, at the request of the Supervisor, with the contractors, partners, donors, national institutions, international organizations, NGOs, professional organizations, trainers on implementation of the Team’s plans and take appropriate follow-up actions.
• Provide administrative and organizational assistance in the preparation and conduction of missions and related administrative processes.

Assist with the organization of IITE events and participation of IITE in exhibitions and events. Provide assistance in the implementation of IITE publication and dissemination initiatives. Draft and revise correspondence, press-releases and other documents in Russian and English. Perform ad hoc assignments and responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor. Report to the Supervisor on the above-mentioned activities.
Qualifications and experience required:
• university degree in related fields, additional qualification on Education and ICT or other related field is an asset;

at least five years of professional experience; fluency in English, both verbally and in writing; ability to establish effective working relations in a multicultural environment; excellent analytical and organizational skills; advanced IT skills.
