WWHS Bootcamp 2018

Elevator Pitch Award Winners L-R: Tammy Land, Alex Roberts, Brandon Rivera, Destiny Mendoza, Vince Bell

Boot Camp Volunteers

"On behalf of Dallas-ISD and NAF, I appreciate everyone's hard work in planning and executing today's boot camp for the students @ NAF Academy of Finance at Woodrow Wilson High School. Unfortunately, I was only able to stay for the morning sessions which were very insightful, thought-provoking, and action driven. I am sure the rest of the day, was as engaging and informative. Your willingness to share your time and expertise with our students is critical to their success in college, career and their future."

"I want to express my gratitude for Friday's bootcamp. Since Friday, I've already seen dramatic changes. Brandon Rivera was near tears when he showed his appreciation for the laptop he was awarded. He hasn't received anything for "free" and has had to work hard to accomplish his path, so thank you for awarding his great effort. In addition, Joan Calzada won his first DECA competition on Saturday presenting his case to judges. He is moving on to State Competition in February. He specifically told me that he used the interview and the public speaking training to win the competition. I'm so proud! Just so you know...what you do and the time you take off to help these young adults has an impact. So...thank you!"

Driving home the importance of safety? That’s the boss’s job.

When it comes to their drivers, your clients can’t take shortcuts. Keeping employees safe on the road is the employer’s responsibility. It isn’t easy—the fact is, occupational driving incidents are the leading cause of worker fatalities in Texas. Fortunately, your clients don’t have to do it alone. With a video library, driver training tools, and a broad selection of safety resources, Texas Mutual can help policyholders protect the people who keep their business on the road to success.
