Work Experience Junior Engineer, Powermetrics Ltd, India. July 2011 • Engineering design consultancy • Introduction to consultancy work, focused study of the company’s previous projects and design process • Contributed to technical design for specialist machine spindle Junior Engineer, Oldland Aerospace Ltd, UK. 2010-2011 • Aerospace manufacturing specialising in 5-axis CNC machining • Six months on shop floor in 5-axis cell • Five months in engineering office producing manufacturing drawings, CNC programs, simulations and designing production processes • Performed process optimisation: high-speed machining strategies for super-alloys • Lean manufacturing study and value-stream-mapping for major client

Field Instructor, Singapore Police Force, Singapore. 2006-2008 • Basic Training Academy, Training Command • Responsible for squads of 40 trainees • Overall-In-Charge for Parades & Ceremonies on base • Drill commander for parades ranging from 40-400 trainees.

Achievements and Awards Placed 3rd overall in inaugural European International Submarine Races, Bath University Racing Submarine Team, sole UK entry. McNier prize for visual arts, University of Bath Arts and Media Awards 2012, for promotion of and dedication to the arts. Returned American Football club to financial stability during year as treasurer, 2010. Best Instructor award (National Service), 2008, Commendation for teamwork and devotion to duty, 2007, Singapore Police Force.

Skills Experienced in both teamwork and leadership from a variety of past experiences and academic projects. Motivated and enthusiastic with a keen attention to detail. Practiced at problem identification, analysis and solution generation.

Other Skills Regular user of Microsoft Office Suite for academic work. Familiar with programming languages MATLAB, LaTeX, HTML, CSS. Regularly use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. In possession of full UK driving license. Qualified PADI Open Water scuba diver.
