OVERVIEW Our goal in expanding Misys’ Investment Management branch in Bucharest is to make our standard connectivity’s with various external players on the financial world. Connectivity’s is a key functionality in the Misys Sophis VALUE product as it is the core system on which are rely portfolio management & front-office analytics and cross-asset derivatives processing. The connectivity’s allow good relationship with other financial entities our clients deal with, and is essential to guarantee accurate data in the application. As a Business Analyst, you will play a central role in the construction of the connectivity’s and be the link between business owners and R&D.


 

Use and expand your knowledge of capital markets and investment management in a very dynamic and challenging job for a leading financial software company! Work closely with Product Managers and centralize business requirements coming from all over the world Liaise with consultants to replicate real business scenarios from various client roles, write “user stories” that cover business requirements Assist Development teams to design product evolutions that will address the requirements and will match user stories Assist Quality teams to design test plans for verifying both the software correctness and the coverage of business requirements Perform early-stage Business-Analyst tests and review to assess the functionality under construction ; deliver early stage training to QA

Track and manage feature evolutions, defects and validate priorities and corrective plans Propose suggestions for additions and improvements to the software Deliver a functional training that describes the new functionalities in a user-oriented and business-oriented story ; deliver the training to PS/CS teams in Europe, Asia, US (mainly by visio) Liaise with documentation and training academy teams to help them build training material Communicate status, findings and progress on a regular basis

University background in technology, possibly within a financial context - graduates with good results Solid scientific skills- interest in mathematics and ability to “play with numbers” Technical skills such as being familiar with databases (e.g. SQL), XML / XSLT, Ideally some experience in computer sciences and programming Very good organizational skills Very good English skills. It is essential to be analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated and well organized
