You’ve got your eye on a new set of luggage. Why not head home with luxe travel pieces and a sporty handbag? The final spot you’ll need to hit up before you go settle in with a glass of vino, Three Dog Bakery. Your pooch should know mommy’s thinking of her even when she’s more than 6,000 feet above sea level. Grab yummy and all natural treats for your furry prince or princess. Although puppy bagels and cookies will curb your critters appetite, the pup needs more than eats. Score a new collar and pretty, little bowl for your cutie. Shopping’s done.

fter your hard workout, you’ve either worked up an appetite for shopping or dining. Shop first. But where? The Lake Arrowhead Village. It’s a must when visiting those parts. But with all of the little spots you might not know what will delight? Easy. First stop, Triangle Boutique. They have all of your favorites on hand--Seven Jeans, Twisted Heart, C&C California, Joie and Juicy Couture. Scented candles, quirky books, hats, boots, Portico vintage soaps, and a wealth of unique jewelry (you’ll probably flip for the bangles) are also there to fill your shopping crave. Next up, stock up on your cold weather accessories at Leroy’s Boardshop How else do you plan to look like a pro in the powder? Volcom gloves… check! Tricked out Thirty Two Ladies Nova Board boots… check! Roxy hoodies… done! You’ll probably even walk out with a few extras, like super cute jammies from Lost.

Now it’s time to make your debut on the slopes. What to do about that? Head over to Snow Valley Ski Resort and give yourself kudos for booking a Lake Arrowhead winter package. There you’ll get the low down on how to approach the beautiful white blanket before you. Whether a novice or a newbie, Snow Valley is for you. There are a ton of things to do. From hanging in the lodge, late night skiing, cruising in snowmobiles and Terrain Parks, you won’t run out of options. And should you go “overboard,” rest up with a hot toddy at the Last Run Lounge before you go at it again. You and your girls are doing it up, but you’re not done. There’s ice-skating to be done at the Ice Castle International Training Center. Nothing says winter like a triple Lutz, or maybe just laughter and a few laps around the rink.
