Rialto firefighters asking to help “Fill the Boot”
Sight clinic to offer free vision screenings
ialto firefighters are asking motorists to help “fill their boots” this week for a good cause. As part of their annual fundraising efforts in support of children and adults affected with muscle disease, the Rialto Professional Firefighters Association Local 3688, along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be out in full force collecting donations to benefit local families. Safety Day
he Kiwanis Club of East Rialto is sponsoring a Drowning Prevention and Safety Day April 5 . The event will be held from noon to 3 p..m. at the Tom Sawyer Swimming Pool at the Rialto Racquet and Fitness Center, 152 E. San Bernardino Avenue in Rialto. Check in begins at 11 am. Events include lifeguard rescue drills, water safety classes, swim lessons, a BBQ, raffles and more. While the event is free, reservations by March 31 are required.
