Session 5: Assessing the Supply Side of SPS Related Assistance – Compilation of Selected Donors’ Assistance in Central American countries

Presentation: Mr. Jorge Méndez, Independent consultant This session is focused around presentation of a compilation of the SPS assistance provided by donors to Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama over the past five years. The discussion will identify priority areas where assistance has been received and assess the impact of that assistance, particularly in the context of Central American countries’ broader development strategies. The view from the perspective of donors will complement the discussion.
