He has developed a number of studies on the link between water policy & management and macroeconomic performance in the EU or to maximise reclaimed wastewater reuse in the EU, as well as research projects on the use of economic policy instruments for sustainable water management. Gonzalo is the author of recent books and book chapters on the use of economic incentives for water management or water trading schemes.
