Private Collections: Gòdia Foundation and Suñol Foundation We start the visit at the Godia Foundation The Francisco Godia Foundation was set up in 1998 and looks after the legacy of the businessman and collector Francisco Godia. It specializes in medieval art, ceramics, modernist drawing and painting and 20th century art. The permanent collection takes visitors on a tour through the history of art based on the collector's taste and sensitivity. And we follow the visit to the Suñol Foundation The Suñol Foundation is a private, non-profit making organization which has put Josep Suñol’s contemporary art collection on display to the public and at the same time is running a project which encourages the production and diffusion of avant-garde art.

We want to propose you an itinerary around the locations where some of the adventures of the protagonist of the book took place. The itinerary includes some of the buildings that inspired Cervantes during the creation process of Don Quixote. ď ś The itinerary is based on the book "Cervantes in Barcelona", City Guide from Don Quixote perspective (Marge Books) by Rafa Burgos. The tour will be guided by the book's author. N




Barcelona: 2000 years of history This tour is a fantastic introduction to the city and its ambivalences (old/modern or traditional /revolutionary, etc.). After this panoramic approach to the most representative locations of Barcelona, you will be ready to make your own choices of what you want to explore in detail on your own. Our city tour includes: Panoramic views of old and contemporary cultural city sites:  Visit to the Old Port of Barcelona  Montjuïc (with great views of the waterfront)  The Olympic Stadium  Barcelona Cathedral and its beautiful cloister  The Ramblas (Barcelona's most famous street full of souvenir shops, cafes and environment)  Paseo de Gracia, where you can admire some of the most important modernist facades as Casa Batllo and Pedrera  Eventually the tour will end with a guided visit to La Sagrada Famlia

Transport is required for this tour and it includes picture, taking stops and short walking stops.

Modernist designs & colors Much of the environmental charm of Barcelona is defined by its modernist originality: a city full of light, color and harmony. Depending on the time and the period of the year to observe the colors of the different architectures depending on time of year or time of day causes an indefinable aesthetic feeling. Stories and legends of the

Gothic Quarter Legends, traditions, stories passed down from

generation to generation that will guide us on this journey through the Gothic Quarter. The tour will

show visitors how ancestors lived, the origin of the city, the respectful coexistence of different religions, their social life and their relations with this quarter.

The tour begins at Plaza de España with an amazing view of the Neptune´s monument. From this location you are also able to see María Cristina´s Avenue dominated by 2 venitians towers. These towers of 47 m tall each are leading the way to the MNAC, one of Catalonia's finest museums.

Montjüic tour will take you to the Poble Espanyol (optional), an open-air museum built up in 1929 for Barcelona´s international Exhibition. Poble espanyol is a show case of the different towns of the country and its singular architecture.built in order to last 6 months is still remaining as a museum.

Afterwards you walk around the Olympic Ring, main site for the 1992 Olympic Games. This complex contents :the Olympic Stadium, Palau Sant Jordi sports hall, Picornell swimming arena, National Physical Education Institute (INEFC) and Santiago Calatrava telecommunications tower.

Find the pictorical legacy of Joan Miró, in his foundation create to promote contemporary art. The building, designed by Josep Lluís Sert, is an open-plan structure inspired by traditional Mediterranean styles that achieves a perfect balance between architecture and landscape.

The tour will take you now to Montjuïc castle, a fortress built up in 1751 which played several roles along its life, built up not only to protect but also to attack enemies…

Finally, the visit comes to its end so get ready for the last adventure because it ´s time to cross from Montjüic hill to the port of Barcelona in a cable car! Fun will be guaranteed! (optional)

Barcelona 1900’s: The Bohemian city of Picasso

This is a very special tour, as it combines arts, history, society and stories related to 1900’s Barcelona, the city that Picasso found when he moved to Barcelona with his family. Art galleries, modernist art, artists and intellectuals, strong cultural connections with Paris, secret districts, literary bars and cabarets; the tour takes you to some of Picasso’s studios as well as old bars and shops of the time. This tour could finish with an amazing visit to the Picasso Museum.

In this charming museum you will find original pieces of furniture of the Catalan Modernist flats, decoration, paints and sculpture. ICONO offers you the chance to visit the interior of one of the Gaudí’s house: the Casa Batlló. A key feature in the architecture of modernist Modernisme. The "Manzana de la Discordia", or Block of Discord, is a series of buildings built by the most renowned architects, amongst which is this house.

The Shadow of the Wind Literary route All books are read but some offers the possibility to walk into... We present a unique opportunity to wander around the amazing Barcelona shown in The Shadow of the Wind, a novel that has captivated thousands of readers all around the world. From writing to words, from the imagination to reality. We will be ourselves the characters of the novel that has hit us and we are going to move around the places that still today keep the charm and mystery of early XX century Barcelona. Not often do we have the possibility to turn fiction into reality but this is one such chance. There is the possibility to include actors for a performance tour.


This is an interactive group activity created to encourage meaningful communication and cooperation among participants while learning about the collage technique used by Picasso.

Recycling workshop

This is a very interactive experience designed to enhance creativity, participation and communication. Its added value is the use of recyclable materials, which makes of it a sustainable activity.

The objective is to create a collage based on the image of your colleague… Firstly you will be split into groups and

taken on a 30 minute Picasso tour around the city center. The tour is an extremely informative historical look at Pablo Picasso´s life and art production. Along the walk, participants will be asked to collect possible materials and objects, which can be linked ‘spirit of Picasso’.

as creative as possible and apply the waste hierarchy: reusing, recycling and reducing.

an original piece of art? This teambuilding activity offers you the opportunity to learn more about the work of Gaudi, and the technique that defines his works in particular to experiment with : “the

Flamenco Workshop


Get started in Flamenco music and dance! An ice-breaker activity designed to foster team work. ICONO offers a workshop to introduce yourself in the art of Flamenco. The workshops will be conducted by a professional dancer (bailaora). The master class will be focused on aspects such as: coordination between the different parts of the body, posture, footwork and other basic concepts of Flamenco dancing.

Gastronomic Workshop Looking for a fun and unique way to learn about the Spanish cuisine?

Discover the secrets of the traditional dishes guided by a professional chef. Nowadays Spanish cuisine is “on fashion” as well as its chefs: Ferran Adrià,

Arzak, Carme Ruscalleda. This chefs have changed the premises of the traditional way of cooking the classical Spanish recipes and so we want to propose you to become a chef for a while. With this worshop you will get to understand how gastronomy shapes Spanish culture. Cook with fresh local products from La Boquería market, taste traditional recipes such as: spanish omelette, gazpacho, paella or crema catalana. Feed your love of food with this unique culinary experience!

Human Towers – Castellers Human Towers – Castellers is based on one of the most important Catalan traditions: Castells.

This word, translated into English, means castle, and consists of the construction of human

towers. A lot of people is needed to attain this objective, cooperation and communication are

essential values to achieve the final success.

Do you dare to compete with your collegues in a cocktail workshop-

competition for amateurs? In this activity it is important to learn the exact measure of each of the ingredients but, above all, shake the cocktail, the best mixture will be the winner.

PERCUSSION WORKSHOP ¡Follow the beat with your company events! Percussion connects directly with participants’ intuition and emotions. This workshop develops team spirit and interaction: Within minutes, participants unite naturally in rhythm, sounding like an orchestra. Groups can be from ten people to several hundred, where participants unite in the rhythm of the "Jembe" drum. Sessions last approximately one hour. Each participant has an authentic “Jembe” drum and with it all of them will embark on a journey of musical and rhythmic exploration. The element surprise and the fact that everything is kept very simple are keys to our success. Groups find themselves suddenly immersed in a totally new activity producing extraordinary results and fostering a strong sense of non-verbal communication in an extremely enjoyable way with surprising results.

Workshop Monasterio de Sant Cugat De Vita Comunitatis: Medieval Writing Workshop A monastery was a place to live in community. The life of a Benedictine monk in medieval Catalonia was governed by the rule of Saint Benedict, a guideline for all he had to do during the day. They mainly followed the Benedictine monastic “ora et labora�, pray and work. The monasteries were important political, economical and above all cultural centers. This workshop offers the opportunity to enter the monastic life, as well as to enter the world of the Scriptorium, knowing the techniques of medieval writing.

Los Fundamentos de la Tierra: Medieval Architecture Workshop With the construction and the following renovations of the monastery of Sant Cugat were dozens of specialists involved, for example masters of work, stone masons, laborers, painters,‌ The construction of such a building was a very complex undertaking, that requested high technical knowledge and organization. The structure and ornamentation of the building responds to the needs and the power of the monastic community of Sant Cugat. A visit to the monastery allows you to analyze the characteristics of the medieval architecture. The workshop allows us to direct these elements, lifting medieval buildings.


Gastronomic Treasure Hunt This game is designed to challenge the participants’ culinary skills.

Each member will be asked to perform different tests to develop their sense of taste and smell and their abilities to cook all in a light-hearted way.
