SCOPE OF THE SYMPOSIUM:

The breakthrough in the development of giant off-shore wind turbines is motivating significant change in several available grid power technologies, including generators and grid requirements. Superconductivity is expected to play an important role in this new revolution. Powerful new superconducting generators, cables and fault current limiters are key systems which will enhance the efficiency and reliability of electricity generation, transport and distribution.
