Academic and work experiences have provided me with extensive technical tools and the understanding of architecture as a tool that goes beyond the tectonic, being a powerful tool of comunication with its social and environmental impacts. My current interest is the review of how digital environment influences interpersonal relationships and how spatial and temporal distance is nowadays reduced and how it interferes with architecture. Redefining public and private space and the barriers between them. education

HOTEL OF TIDES. Landscape project and hotel in San Fernando. Professor: María Langarita-Emilio Tuñón 2017-2018 <

The Project starts with the analysis of geographic and non-geographic preexistence of the marismean border of San Fernando. An environment that is threatened by abandonment of it’s salines, the demolition of irregular fishing settlements and the progress of hotel proposals that follow an autistic model that doesn’t dialogue with the environment. The aim of the project is to reactivate the marismean border valuing the it’s nature and the local architectural intelligences, in which we find the components of the operative imaginary that nourishes the project. We are talking about imported models of the fishing culture; it’s ships, sighting constructions and fisherman’s houses. The first action in the landscape is a path network that connects preexitences and the landscape with the hotel of tides, located in a priviledged spot of the bay. It is an alternative hotel that finds in environmental value, touristic value. It is a place where experience is dictated by the tidal cycles and bird biodiversity is a touristic claim. The hotel of tides is a place of disconnection and re-connection with nature in a water and shore promenade, though it’s footbridges, floating islands, cottages, trenches and piers.

RECHARTING LA CEBADA- Reformulating a public space through historic marks. Professor: Jose María Lapuerta<

Reformulate El campo de la Cebada, a square in the city center of Madrid where there’s a daily fight between public and private interests. Reformulating the square from the palimpsest, giving value to the concrete structure and opening a necessary public space. The approximation to the resolution of a public space should not be hierarchical. The square does not arise from the economic interest of control but from the idea that it is the citizen who creates the city with it’s participation in it. The network of the installations is a technical surface placed at a height of 4 meters allowing the freedom of use of the ground. This board supplies light, telecommunication and water. This allows a comfortable use and open to individual and collective needs. The space is configured from the physical traces and non-physical but also real traces of the past of the Plaza de la Cebada. The square is made up of a first stratum of ruin, the rubble, a second technical layer, the network of facilities vines, and a third stratum, the concrete structure. The whole would be a large open temple.

RELLO REGEN. Reactvation of a medieval village in Soria. Professor: Blanca Lleó -2015 < Rello, located in the natural park of the highlands of Barahona, is a symbol of the military tension during the Christian Reconquest. It is located in the south part of the province. Today the medieval village in ruinous state is uninhabited. The river Escalote discovers the calcareous landscape and the view of poplars.

The village of Rello is rehabilitated and reactivated based on a strategy of biphasic occupation. This is translated into two continuous occupation systems.

Phase I: It is a series of military elements: towers, turrets, “matacanes”; that are located in t strategic places to boost the value of this place: the landscape, the products from the land or the energetic possibilities. It is located in external points of the wall and in fields next to the road, to catch the attention of the travelers. The architecture of this system is temporary, detachable and useful.

Phase II: It is a system of internal revival of the people. By means of a series of capsules that condition and enable life in the ruined spaces. These spaces are renewed maintaining the original spatialities. These reactivation modules have several scales: ruinous scale enclosure, ruinous apple scale, ruinous village scale

MUSSLE PICKER STATION colonization of a galician estuary. Professor - Blanca LleĂł. 2015 <

This short exercise has a main point of reference, the link between locals, visitors and landscape, in other words food. The project tries to be flexible to emphazice the importance of other readings. Taking into consideration the whole proces that is needed to offer Galicia’s main good: the mussles. Colonization of the Galician estuaries, the world's largest producer of mussels. The project offers a specific experience taking into account factors of mobility, place, time and space. Mussles: fresh, local, quick and easy to cook. Eating: The act of sharing the food is more than feeding yourself, is a moment of comunication and sharing of traditions and knowledge.

SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS IN PMM. Refurbishment of Madrid’s vehicle fleet building. Professor: Izaskun Chinchilla 2014 <

Located in the centre of Madrid, The state’s vehicle fleet building from mid-twenties is a symbol of the rigidity of the dictatorship’s architecture. This project gives the city a wide space of communiation and sharing of the arts refurbishing two big structures: a metal framework and a rainforced concrete structure. The space becomes a center of education, interaction between arts and interaction with the visitor.
