JOOP Selection 2016

The JOOP Contest The JOOP (Japan Olive Oil Prize) contest was created in 2013 by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, aiming at promoting extra virgin olive oils of all origins in Japan. An international panel of EU certified jurors blind taste and select over 150 oils from over 20 Countries.

The JOOP Selection 2016 This guidebook features the best extra-virgin olive oils in the 2016 JOOP competition that achieved a score of at least 7,00. Each oil is presented along with technical and sensorial info data, including the producing company.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ) is an association of companies and entrepreneurs established in Tokyo in 1972 to help promote commercial exchanges and relations between Italy and Japan. In line with its main purpose to strengthen bilateral commercial exchanges between Italy and Japan, and thanks to its collaboration with a vast network of professionals, over the past 40 years the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan has provided Italian and Japanese companies with a wide range of services ranging such as market research, mission planning, event organization, seminars and courses.
