Beautiful Images, Creative Impact
Great images are the reason BeFunky was created. We strive for every one of our users to create great images. Our mission is to provide editing tools for anyone and everyone who takes photos, and help them improve their skills in both photography and photo editing. On our blog, we host a slew of tutorials and fun creative posts to help anyone with a camera take great photos. Everyday, we hand-select great photos our users have submitted, to be featured in our Explore gallery, with the intention of inspiring and
challenging other photographers to take and share great photos. Most of the response to our images comes from Facebook. We have a very large and engaged audience, and we share a lot of our own photos, as well as photos that have been BeFunkied by our users. We also see a huge response in our blog; we share a lot of tutorial-type posts featuring images created solely in BeFunky, with the hopes that we can inspire the same creativity in our audience.
How to Capture the Perfect Image on the Go 1. Have your camera ready at all times and take bursts of photos – so many times I have found a gem in a burst of 10 photos. 2. Use your camera’s grid lines to help you quickly compose a beautiful shot. 3. Use your flash sparingly – cameras have come a long way and most of them shoot really well in low light conditions. 4. Use the natural lines in your viewer/screen to add to the composition of your shot.
Aesthetically, a great photo should be well composed, properly lit, in focus, and have a clear and defined subject.
5. Edit conservatively – BeFunky gives you the tools to take a photo that you like and turn it into a photo that you love.
