Matthew David Segall is a doctoral candidate in philosophy and religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA. His dissertation aims to demonstrate the methodological role of imagination in both scientific theorization and religious mythopoeia. He is the author of several books and articles, including The Re-Emergence of Schelling: Philosophy in a Time of Emergency (Lambert, 2014) and “Logos of a Living Earth: Towards a New Marriage of Science and Myth for our Planetary Future” (in World Futures, 68:2, 2012).
