Simply Imaging workshops across the UK

After producing heaps of imaging and editing hours upon hours of audio for the past few years, Ian has picked up a fair few skills. If you’re looking into radio imaging or audio production, or you work for a station and want to learn some new skills, Simply Imaging could be for you. These workshops are held all over the UK and aim to teach your production teams, or you as an individual, new ways of thinking about creative judgments, use of audio editing software, and overall aim to give you a fresh grasp on the world of radio imaging. The workshops can run for either a full day, or half a day and can take place at your station or studios, or at a location suitable for you. The workshops can cover pre-arranged topics, or topics on radio imaging of your choice. Prices for the workshops vary on size, but a rough guide price for workshops is outlined below: •

Half Day - £70.00+ Guide price only, each workshop is priced on an individual basis, and based on number of attendees, location hire (if applicable) and expenses.

Full Day - £120.00+ Guide price only, each workshop is priced on an individual basis, and based on number of attendees, location hire (if applicable) and expenses.

As well as the workshops, Ian is also available to come and talk about how he set up Pinnell Productions, and his career within the radio industry so far. He is a regular speaker at events held at the University of Gloucestershire, where he studied to obtain a BA Hons in Radio Production, and gained acknowledgement for setting up Pinnell Productions as part of the Employable Gloucestershire Graduate Scheme. Need a voice?

or maybe some production music?

If you have an idea for how you want your radio imaging, or audio to sound, but haven’t yet started sourcing voiceover artists, or music, then don’t worry – Ian is here to help. Need a Voiceover artist? Ian has a database of voiceover artists who can help you voice your script and make it sound exactly the way you want it. With heaps of experiences of voicing, you’ll be sure to find a voiceover artist who suits your requirements. Ian will work with you on choosing a voiceover artist for your project, and direct you to their own websites, where you can hear audio, and contact them directly. Alternatively, some voiceover artists have sent their demos to Ian, who can forward them onto you, along with their contact details. Finding a voiceover artist for your project has never been easier! How about some Production Music with that? As well as producing production music in-house, Ian already has an extensive production music and sound effect library, which he has collected through the years. In fact, a former radio producer passed on over 500+ production CDs to Ian, from production houses including Match, Warner Chapel and V just to name but a few. Having these additional CDs full of themes, and sound effects means Ian can use them to utilise your production even further. To find out more, visit IMPORTANT NOTE ON MUSIC LICENSING All clients are responsible for MCPS and all other music licensing payments required for broadcasting production music on their radio stations, or within business, online and any other medium where your final production might be used. Clients are also responsible for all clearances (excluding RACC Copy Clearance for radio ads), and payment for PRS and other licensing costs where necessary. With every order that uses production music, you will be sent a Music Logging form, with full details of the album, artist, composer, title, and length of piece used – making it even easier for you to log this in your project.
