• Created marketing materials using Adobe programs to increase social media engagement & follower goal of 250, used strong verbal communication to discuss outreach strategies and key messages.
• Developed coordination with colleagues in events for media captures and shared event highlights that saw up to a 20% increase in account engagement on social media
• Demonstrated leadership in marketing projects, working with the executive board and advisors to enhance meeting and event retention through targeted flyers and social media campaigns tailored to resident demographics.
Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI), Officer Of Sustainability & Transportation September 2024 - Present
• Collaborate with campus organizations and 3 representatives of college departments to implement sustainability initiatives, working closely with campus staff for needs and endorsement in upcoming sustainable needs.
• Chairing the Sustainability Standing Committee with 8 members, facilitating funding to organization/club projects, reviewing ASI events created for sustainability motives, and refining sustainability guidelines.
PROJECTS
Re-introduction of The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF)
November 2024 - Present
• As part of the role in ASI, led the re-introduction of (TGIF) as an active project, a financial resource dedicated to funding sustainable projects & events for student groups, organizations, and clubs on campus.
• Contributions included drafting guidelines to make more accessible verbal communication with college senators for relaying updates and encouraging broader participation in sustainability initiatives.
• Completed my goal of assisting in implementing the TGIF form into the ASI website, where it became publicly available for any group. Along with organizing an info session event to connect clubs and groups.
Azusa Wilderness Park, 3rd year design project September 2024 - December 2024
• Visited a Watershed Conservation Authority site in Azusa, where a Gabrielino tribe member shared insights on land acknowledgment. Guided research into climate, zoning, and indigenous practices, leading to a communitydriven park design designed by AutoCAD and Revit that balances private tribal space with public access through stewardship.
