IAAPA tirelessly advocates the development, use, and promotion of safety standards around the world. IAAPA strives to shape safety-related legislation at all levels of government. And we can help you navigate the complex political process. • For more than three decades, IAAPA members have pioneered the development of amusement ride safety standards. IAAPA has worked closely with standards-setting bodies such as ASTM International, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to further the safety of the industry. • IAAPA is the driving force behind industry safety and we work with countries around the world on consistent safety standards. • Amusement Ride Safety Report — every year, we require IAAPA members in the United States to provide ride-related injury data to the National Safety Council. This data helps demonstrate the industry’s outstanding safety record to government officials and the press. IAAPA also has a Ride Safety Program in Europe and one launching in Latin America. • Safety training is offered at our conferences and trade shows in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
