Husnia Karimi Profile Husnia Karimi is a seasoned Human Resources and Development with a work history that illustrates strong strategic management skills, a solid background in human resources and a career focused on delivering high levels of employee and training services. In March 2006, She joined Addax Bank as Head the Human Resources and Development Department when the bank was a start up environment with 14 employees (later grew to 70 employees) and established the Human Resources department from scratch including: Recruiting, Training, Organization Development, Performance Management, Policy Recommendation, Salary and Benefits and Employee Relations. In August 2005, She joined Ahmed Janahi Holdings Company to lead the HR Operations responsible for Bahrain & South Africa for HR policies and processes, Recruitment, Performance Management, Training Management, Maintaining Employee Files, People Skills, Resolving Conflict, Employment Law, Project Management, Compensation and Benefits Management, Payroll and Reimbursement Processing. Previously, she worked with KPMG as the HR & Training Coordinator where she led the Middle East & South Africa HR and Training operations in Bahrain and Qatar. Husnia has also worked Arthur Anderson. Husnia obtained her MBA majoring in Human Resources and Development from Washington International University, Washington DC, USA. Also, she holds an international license in Occupational Testing from the University of Surrey, UK. In addition, she has attended several training courses relating to Human Resource Development. Husnia recently obtained her certification in Personnel Practice from Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK. She was awarded from University of Bahrain in supporting and participation at “Career Hunters Program”. Also, She was selected by UCB to present on behalf of the University in the “Women in

Leadership� in Dubai, UAE. In a meeting with Gulf News she took about the encouragement of the Bahraini Government to women not only in education but in different sectors of society, business, and various activities and added that women would be in a position to lead these sectors. A Bahraini woman now knows what they want and clear about how to obtain them. We have seen significant progress in the Bahraini women and are sure they will continue to success.
