The role of the Policy, Planning & Governance Team, which is part of Registry & Governance Services, is to support the initiatives undertaken by the University to ensure this level of quality is maintained. During the H1N1 scare in 2009 introduced a Safety and Health Office, which was designed to concentrate on a safe and healthy work environment, updating and introducing new safety and health related policies and procedures, and providing information, advice, and other support as required.
