testimony by Lachlan Savill As a member of the Savill family, I was exposed to Christianity from an early age. It wasn’t difficult for me to believe in God. However, until recently I never made an effort to consider what his existence meant for me. I was what you might call a ‘run of the mill fan’ - someone who had grown up admiring Jesus. I was more than willing to accept that Jesus was a good bloke but when push came to shove I wasn’t willing to give him a single moment of my day. As an ‘invincible’ 17 year old male, I had my whole life figured out and felt as though I was in complete control - why bother letting God in?
