Introduction

Introduction

Dear Stakeholders, The 2010 year for NOJA Power delivered an on budget result which saw us achieve significant growth together with a range of new capabilities. We acquired a new 4011 square metre facility at 16 Archimedes Place, Murarrie which was fitted out with a purpose built production line for our medium voltage products consisting of 2 parallel lines and 2 high voltage screened test cages. The facility also provides expanded production capacity in our low voltage switchgear products and ample storage and container handing capability. Our research and development team successfully released and type tested the OSM 38kV recloser product combined with the RC10 control and communications cubicle which provides a new electronic hardware platform to drive further innovation in our product over the next decade. Our low voltage switchgear team completed switchgear for significant infrastructure projects in Queensland including the new CLEM7 tunnel and the Abbott Point Ship Loader. Our recloser product division continued to service the global demand for our OSM range of recloser products in 70 countries resulting in being recognised as the Australian Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year. We are committed to continued research and development to provide new and innovative products of the highest possible quality and lowest environmental impact and maintain both ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditation to assist us with serving this commitment. We enter the new year with plans to commission new expanded production capacity to service our current and future customer requirements and a high level of confidence and enthusiasm for the 2011 year. We look forward to being of service.
