GET A RUNNING START ON FITNESS Sign up now… Training begins in January Half-Marathon Class Saturdays January 7-April 28 8:00 a.m. – Location will vary Jolene Berke, Certified Group-Fitness Instructor and Half-Marathon Veteran This 16 session training plan is designed to prepare you for the Lincoln half-marathon on Sunday, May 6, 2012. You receive a weekly group coached long run, weekly run workouts and cross training guidance; access to other training partners; race day prep and assistance with race day goal planning, plus the opportunity to learn about running related topics. Run further, improve fitness and have FUN with your training!

Couch to 5K – Lady Warriors Thursdays, January 12-March 22 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at CCC Kearney Center Terri Miller, Instructor If your goal is to finish a 5K, this class is for you. Connect with other women for encouragement, support and accountability as you prepare for a 5K (3.1 miles). Class includes nutritional tips, advice on strength training, stretching and flexibility exercises, ans person experience from Terri who has competed in marathons. She will help you succeed in reaching your goal. Class limited to 20 students.
