The Expo is an unprecedented initiative by the Haiti Renewal Alliance whose mission is to connect Haiti with the global business market place to create a self-sufficient economy. The 2012 HRA Expo gathered business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs from 5 countries and over 22 states. Conference attendees networked, exchanged resources, and formed partnerships to develop businesses and advance investment in Haiti. Since 2010, over 1,300 participants have attended HRA Business Expos making it “the premier business investment networking event in the Haitian Diaspora.”

The 2013 Business Expo will continue to explore better ways to promote Haiti as an ideal place to invest and do business. The Conference component will focus on tourism, manufacturing, and reconstruction of Haiti, and various business opportunies. Haitian women owned businesses will be showcased as they are the backbone of the Haitian economy. HRA will continue to create a platform for start-up and small businesses to present their business plan through the very successful session “Investor’s tank.” The exhibition hall will continue to provide opportunities for companies to showcase and promote their products and services as well as job seekers to meet potential employers. Based on the success of the 2012 Expo, we are anticipating a large increase in attendees and exhibitors in the upcoming HRA 4th Annual Haiti Business Investment Expo & Conference. About HRA The Haiti Renewal Alliance (HRA) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington DC. Its vision is to see a Haiti connected to the Global Market Place as a selfsustained economy. Through collaboration and partnerships, the Haiti Renewal Alliance will advance the capacity of Haiti by promoting investment, business development and economic growth.

The Haiti Business Investment Expo & Conference is an HRA signature event which convenes industries, multiple stakeholders, the private sector, government, civil society and the Diaspora. This exposition helps to identify opportunities and provide a venue for engagement and partnership for investment in Haiti. Through the HRA network, we connect business developers with potential Investors. We assist in brokering deals between entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. We recently launched the Alliance Institute for Business Innovation which incubates and develops ideas into businesses; build the capacity of Haitian SMEs by providing training, mentorship and knowledge sharing.
