The Houston Theater District is home to the city’s nine world-class performing arts groups and includes surrounding parks, plazas, hotels and restaurants. The Theater District includes four performance venues:
Alley Theatre (Hubbard Stage and Neuhaus Stage) Hobby Center for the Performing Arts (Sarofim Hall and Zilkha Hall) Jones Hall Wortham Theater Center (The Brown Theater and The Cullen Theater) Houston is one of only five cities in the United States with permanent professional resident companies in all of the major performing arts disciplines of opera, ballet, music and theater.
