Located just a 45 minute speedboat or a 90 minute ferry ride from

either Phuket or Krabi. The Phi Phi Islands are one of the superstars of Thailand. Made world-famous with its stunningly beautiful bays and beaches featured in the movie 'The Beach'. Made up of six islands, including the most famous, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. The Phi Phi Islands conjure up images of white sand beaches, long-tail boats and a chilled vibe, and that’s exactly what you get. Koh Phi Phi Don, the only inhabited island of the six, offers a variety of destinations all within the one island. Central Phi Phi Don, located near Tonsai Bay (where the ferries will land) in the south, is the liveliest place and has plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars to keep you entertained. Laem Thong, located on the north eastern coast, is where you will find a long strip of beach perfect for sunbathing, snorkelling, scuba diving or simply doing nothing. Located at the eastern end of Tonsai Bay, Long Beach, is separated from Central Phi Phi Don by a narrow jungle path accessible by foot. Come here for pure tranquillity. Koh Phi Phi Ley is an uninhabited island located 1.5 kilometres off the southern tip of Phi Phi Don. With stunning vertical limestone rocks jutting out of the sea topped with luscious greenery and small sandy bays. Here you will find the famous Maya Bay, a bay of aquamarine water surrounded by limestone cliffs and white sand beach. If you are looking for a great snorkelling spot make sure you head to Loh Sama Bay. Located on the south side of the island and only accessible by speedboats or longtails, here you will find beautiful coral and tropical fish.

ust under an hour's drive from Phuket International Airport you will find this 20 kilometre long stretch of beautiful beaches along the Andaman Sea coastline, Khao Lak. A great alternative to Phuket, however a lot less touristy. Think relatively unspoiled nature, uncrowded beaches and beachfront resorts, a great place for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Khao Lak is made up of three main areas each with their own beach. Bang La On is the most tourist friendly area, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained and just a short walk to the towns beach, Nang Thong. Bang Niang, with a more Thai feel, home to the outdoor market held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and Khao Lak’s nightlife centre. Khuk Kak, definitely the least touristy of the three so a great place for a more local feel. Just over an hour's drive is the Khao Sok National Park. Here you can experience nature activities like jungle trekking, waterfalls and river rafting, a great place to explore for the day if you are looking for some adventure. Two hours north you will find the Cheow Larn Lake, an artificial lake created in 1982, surrounded by limestone cliffs and rainforest jungle, this area is inhabited by many animal species.
