Hotopp Associates was founded in 1984 by Michael J. Hotopp, whose award-winning career in entertainment design spans more than 30-years. Since our inception, the company’s principal philosophy has been to create environments, events, and attractions that are visually distinctive, technically innovative, user-friendly, and memorable. Hotopp Associates has television design credits that include all major network and cable broadcast outlets (5 Emmy nominations, 3 wins). Corporate presentations include Fortune 500 companies in the areas of automotive, pharmaceutical, and technology. Entertainment design credits include Broadway, Off Broadway, national and international touring companies, Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular, Las Vegas, and Shoji Entertainment in Branson, MO. Current exhibit credits include Diana: A Celebration, The Basketball Hall of Fame, and Gaylord Entertainments “Ice!” in Nashville, Texas, and Orlando. For each project, the company’s dynamic group of concept designers, art directors, graphic designers, sketch artists and fabricators work in a constant, close partnership with clients to help them achieve and surpass all expectations.


JOHN DEERE UNIVERSITY BI Worldwide:

Moline, IL

For the John Deere University Event in Moline Illinois we partnered with BI Worldwide to create a solution that was multi-faceted, comprehensive and technology oriented. Evolving from the meeting theme “Circle Your Productivity” our team developed the concept of a projection mapped “silo” built within the venue to house the work sessions while product displays and dining took place on the surrounding arena floor. Real Live Pros

engineered and built the non-traditional truss structure and crafted the PolyGal silo panels that formed the 360 degree illuminated display surface. Soft content and lighting was projected all around the attendees with multiple hi res projection screens for content floated within.


COUNTRY FINANCIAL 2015 BI World Wide:

Las Vegas, NV

Hotopp Associates designs an award winning business-to-business stage experience for Country Financial. EventMarketer Experience Design Awards: Best Business to Business Stage Experience, Gold Metal Winner with long time partner BIWorldwide, the Country Financial Sales Congress took audience through a colorful staged narrative by way of two undulating LED structures and a multi-level playing space.

Thematic light sculptures with animated addressable LED’s supported the “Grow” theme as grass like strands.


CONDÉ NAST ENTERTAINMENT VPP:

New York, NY

Hotopp Associates delivers a world class digital environment for Conde Nast Entertainment. Hotopp has partnered with VPP Productions four years running and each year we take the event to the next level. Condé Nast Entertainment (CNÉ) unveiled the next phase of its digital expansion at its second annual Digital Content NewFront. CNÉ, which launched its digital video network in March 2013 with GQ and Glamour channels, has built

the network into a growing force with eleven iconic branded channels inspired by storied Condé Nast titles, and nearly a billion views to date.

THE CW UP-FRONT VPP:

New York, NY

Ten years running Hotopp Associates designs the year’s premier launch event for CW networks. Hotopp has long supported CW Networks and VPP Productions to design the year’s premier advertising sales event. While the design has evolved over the years, Hotopp has remained committed to prominently featuring the CW Network’s best content both through video integration and scenic elements. In recent

years Hotopp’s designs have featured state-ofthe-art active LED backdrops and automated movement of major scenic elements.


SAGE SUMMIT 2014 Freeman XP:

Las Vegas, NV

Hotopp Associates in partnership with Freeman XP re-imagined an annual corporate expo for SAGE. Hotopp Associates wanted to use cutting edge design to turn brand moments into brand movements. At the outset, the team at Hotopp was determined to design a movement. Our team imagined impactful spaces that resonate and connect individuals together. The proposed design solutions transformed Sage Summit

2014 into a totally original, high-impact brand experience. Hotopp’s team of designers combined cutting-edge multimedia design with contemporary high-end spaces to create a multi-sensory, “How’d they do that,” WOWfactor experience.


LILLY BIO-MEDICINES BI Worldwide:

Orlando, FL

Hotopp Associates’ expertise designing innovative corporate events pays off for Lilly Bio-medicine with a expansive, versatile expo design. Bio-Medicines is the largest of Lilly’s five business areas in terms of sales, and we account for nearly half of Lilly’s mid-tolate stage pipeline assets. This indoor/ outdoor event featured a multi-day evolving presentation room, expo floor, and expansive

outdoor event space. Hotopp provided concept design, budgeting services, and graphic design services.
