DEAR GUESTS AND FRIENDS I am delighted that you are reading the new edition of our Event Guide and hope to be able to welcome you soon to one of our many events. This spring and summer I would particularly like to warmly recommend our newlyrenovated CU Terrace with Pavilion at the City Garden Hotel. Our new host Tobias and chef de cuisine Sven are sure to spoil you rotten, for example at our “Two for One – Casual Friday Dining” (every Friday). By the way our beautiful terrace is not just a fantastic place to chill out or have a drinks party; it’s also the perfect location for a wedding reception or birthday party. Close to the station in the centre of town yet surrounded by a small wood, it really is a little jewel. Apart from familiar, popular events like our “Taste of Lebanon” and “Georgian Supra” at the Park Hotel and the “Gaucho Evening” at the CU Restaurant, we also have a few new ideas with which to tempt you. The ‘Metzgete’ is an autumn tradition here in Switzerland which has experienced a tremendous revival in recent years.
