WHAT IS TIGER BILLS? Tiger Bills is a unique ‘East meets West’ neighbourhood dining concept: a local restaurant with an emphasis on good hospitality, serving a fusion of authentic Thai alongside traditional Western grill. Times are changing and people are bored of the faceless restaurant brands found on every high street. They want to dine locally where the food is good but the atmosphere is even better. They want somewhere they can keep coming back to and feel welcomed every time. Tiger Bills provides that missing combination - great food coupled with a fantastic customer experience in your local neighbourhood.


OUR HISTORY The Tiger Bills brand was created by The Lifestyle Hospitality Group, a successful group of hospitality based businesses headquartered in the UK. The first Tiger Bills restaurant opened in 2007 on a derelict, secondary site in the South West of England. It soon became the talk of the city and rapidly built a wide and loyal customer base. Five years after the launch of Tiger Bills a second restaurant was opened in England. Having perfected the business model over the previous five years this next restaurant hit the ground running and was profit-making from day one of operation. Recognising the success of the Tiger Bills model and the potential scalability, Tiger Bills was offered as a franchise opportunity to UK investors. Tiger Bills is now looking to share its success internationally and is offering master franchise opportunities across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia to investors that share our passion and commitment to succeed.

WHAT DOES THE FRANCHISE FEE INCLUDE? For a minimal investment fee master franchise options are available, which will enable the rights to sub-franchise within a certain territory (outside of the UK).

To ensure every new master franchise is a success we have developed a comprehensive start-up and ongoing support package. We know that to be a successful franchisor and to keep the Tiger Bills brand alive, it is essential that our master franchisees thrive.


THE FRANCHISE FEE INCLUDES… •

Includes a defined Country and or Region “Master Franchise agreement” permitting the master franchisee all rights to on sell multiple sub- franchisees within the Country/Region borders. The subFranchise agreement provided as a part of the Master Franchise agreement automatically gives the rights of an intellectual Property license to all on sold sub-franchisees & licenses the sub-franchisee within the agreed borders. The sub-franchise agreement is provided and this agreement sets out the terms required and fees payable.

Trade Mark property and imagery as well as all defined marketing collateral across hard and digital print media


THE FRANCHISE FEE INCLUDES… •

Full design service providing all required detailed drawings and specifications for design and fit out purposes, this includes a schematic mood board and all equipment and furniture detail

A full tendering and QS service completed from the design and specification drawings

Full access and a license to use the IP of the Lifestyle Group website design and “booking engine technology” incorporating a build of a fully content managed site in the country of origin Including a managed website production from domain name through to hosting

Full hard and digital copies of local language training materials and intellectual property, including sales and marketing manuals


THE FRANCHISE FEE INCLUDES… •

Complete hard copy and digital copies of the "Operation Manual/Bible" some 500 pages of defined operating practices and standards produced in the local language and English. Manual provides all the necessary detail and specification to set up the Tiger Bills Brand in whatever country the manual will allow the master franchisee to have the appropriate monitor and controls to ensure full compliance to the franchise agreement as well as providing the unique key success criteria required to open a Tiger Bills

The on-going support of the Tiger Bills International Franchise consultancy which provides operational guidance and support as well as develops all global marketing activity and in country PR and traffic building strategies

The on-going involvement of the UK Franchisor with direct access to the lifestyle Groups International support services across, accounting, customer service monitoring, insight retails footfall analysis, audit, stock management and sale & marketing

Our International Franchise Director, Patrick Mauser, will be your first point of contact and your guiding hand throughout the lifetime of your franchise. Patrick has been involved in the hospitality industry for over 35 years having trained as a Hotel Manager and then progressed to Director level roles for MacDonald Hotels Plc, Regus UK and Globex UK Ltd. His interest in franchising began at Regus where he was instrumental in setting up Regus’ franchise operation in the Middle East. In 2004 Patrick set up Academy Development to bring together investors, entrepreneurs and master franchisees in the hospitality sector. Based in the Northern Thai city of Chiang Mai, Patrick is ideally placed to provide support to the master franchisees throughout South East Asia.

James’ passion for the hospitality sector has sustained a career in the industry for over 30 years. Since the age of 18 he has been involved in the management of hospitality related businesses, starting at ground level and graduating to senior management and Director level roles for wellknown brands including Eldridge Pope & Co, Scottish & Newcastle and Whitbread. In 2004 James created The Lifestyle Hospitality Group, which is now a fast expanding SME operation that owns and operates some of the liveliest and most unique hospitality venues throughout the South West of England. James created Tiger Bills in 2007 and after five years of perfecting the business model, turned the business into a franchise opportunity. James invests a significant amount of time with all potential and new franchisees to ensure the longterm success of Tiger Bills for both the franchisor and franchisee. In June 2013 James became a Member of the Approved Franchise Association Board of Directors.

Craig Brittain is the Managing Director of the Approved Franchise Association (AFA) and Unique Hospitality Brands and is also the Franchise Director of Tiger Bills. Through his role with the AFA, Craig has been instrumental in helping shape the Tiger Bills franchise model and the AFA will be opening an office in Hong Kong in order to offer further support to Tiger Bills as the franchise expands into the rest of the world. Craig Brittain has been involved with the Approved Franchise Association (AFA) from its inception in January 2012 and Craig comes from a successful career as a Commercial Manager, with over 20 years industry experience, including running and owning his own enterprises and successful franchise business. Craig’s accolades include achieving the role of Regional Manager for Marks and Spencer managing a budget of around £500million a year, and Craig also became the first Commercial Manager of the Royal Household working for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Privy Purse.


OUR INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT PARTNERS We have established key strategic partnerships with businesses that can provide invaluable insight and local business knowledge to our master franchisees. These local delivery partners are familiar with the local terrain and nature of doing business in their locality. They will support master franchisees to establish the Tiger Bills brand in their territory and deliver local training, marketing, auditing and consultancy.

MIDDLE EAST Established in 2004 Gulf Six, a Dubai-based hospitality consultancy, enjoys a reach that extends across the Gulf and a client list including some of the finest local partners in the industry. ASIA SD’H Hospitality Consulting International is the consulting arm of SDH Corporation, providing hospitality and service related consulting and training. SD’H assists international businesses to succeed in expanding overseas.

AFRICA Willemsen Hospitality Ghana Ltd is a private company with the head office based in Kasoa, Central Region, Ghana . The company offers complete solutions for hotels, resorts, restaurants, clubs, cruise-lines and serviced apartment operations.
