Joint Preserving and Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Hip The University of Ottawa and Hospital for Special Surgery are proud to offer the Ninth Symposium on Joint Preserving and Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Hip which will be held June 16-18, 2011 in New York, NY. As in the past this program is dedicated to a scientific and practice-oriented discussion of current topics and controversies in treating the young adult with hip pain. Topics discussed will be Hip Arthroscopy; Femoro Acetabular Impingement (FAI)/Dysplasia; Hip Resurfacing and less invasive hip replacement surgery as well as addressing current controversies with alternate bearings such as metal on metal, ceramics and polyethylenes. Case Discussions with the Experts

Participants are encouraged to bring cases to discuss with our faculty. Cases involving dysplasia, impingement, labral tears and hip resurfacing are of particular interest. Bringing the cases in an electronic format would greatly facilitate the discussion process.
