PROJECT INTENT AND BRIEF MATERIAL As part of a brand building exercise, a thematic exhibition space is to be conceptualized and produced for MATRIX INTERIORS to display its range of merchandize. Merchandise includes curtain rods, curtain tracks, blinds, motorization tracks, insect screens and draping fabrics.

Display units, product presentation techniques and visuals have to be planned and designed as part of an exhibition environment in such a way that they can be recycled 3-4 times. PROJECT INTENT: The objective of this project is to be able to redefine and elevate Matrix as a brand. As the company is in the process of taking a step further to establish itself as a leading service provider in the area of home fashion, the authorities are feeling the need to translate this vision into the presentation techniques of the merchandize. With existing value-based services offered to its customers and the addition of wall covering and floor covering products into the MATRIX range of products, the brand calls for coming across as a ‘Total home fashion Company’. COMPANY INFORMATION: Established in 1999, MATRIX INTERIORS PVT. LTD. (formerly known as Unique Enterprises) is engaged in production and sales of curtain rods and window covering products. Matrix has been devoted, exploring and developing on window decoration for over a period of time and now owns a complete series of window decoration products - the fact that makes it a highly professional and influential company in this trade. STALL SIZE: 6m X 2m (with one side open)

HEIGHT RESTRICTION: info yet to be filled in from the client

TYPE OF STALL: SPACE ONLY (without partitions, carpet, name fascia, furniture or electrical points) - only the floor space is provided to the dimensions of the booked stand. Exhibitors are responsible for the design and construction of the stand using contractors of their own choice within the Rules & Regulations that will accompany the contract to exhibit and the Technical Regulations provided by the venue.

As the new times demand, interior decoration products such as window coverings, wall coverings, floorings, etc have emerged above their obvious superficial meaning to be something called as HOME FASHION. Aesthetically aware customers always seek guidance from the expert for decorating the interiors of their home or commercial venture.

Being a pioneer in this business, Matrix has duly evolved with the new times to become a trusted guide to its aspiring consumer - and this fact should be well-communicated in order to add value to the brand and build stronger customer relationships.

KEY INSIGHT MATRIX as a brand is required to explore concepts and themes within their merchandise collection that are ‘custom-made package deals’ to their consumers. The merchandise need to be redefined, re-classified,

DESIGN COMPANY’S DELIVERABLES •

Brand Image and space design concept: Exhibition stall concept drawings, sketches, 3D renderings: (2 design options)

Refining the chosen concept: Detailed drawings of each of the elements in the approved design with material & finish specifications Detailed artworking of each of the graphic jobs included in the event (Fascia, communication panels)

Production of the exhibition space: Coordinating with the vendors during production stages of all the stall elements, graphic panels and event merchandise. Supervision during the total execution of the exhibition stall.

TIME SCHEDULE Tentative time schedules according to above mentioned deliverables are as follows and will be further discussed in detail when we receive all the content material from the client. • • •

Brand Image and space design concept: 1-3 weeks depending on client’s feedbacks & approvals Refining the chosen concept: 2-3 weeks depending on client’s feedbacks & approvals Production of the exhibition space: 2-3 weeks depending upon the complexity of the design

All schedules are on approximation; any changes due to natural circumstances will be adjusted to meet the deadline.

QUOTATION Project cost - Approximate production cost of the exhibition stall would go between Rs. 1,50000/- and 2,00,000/-

The exact costs of the stall elements are totally dependent upon the client’s feedback on design, material, finishes and lighting, hence can be arrived at only after the design phase is over with proper approvals. •

Itemized quotation will be provided upon the approval of the concept design.

The costs will be as per the industry standards and include all the services discussed in the scope of work. The charges do not include - Photography charges, vendor service taxes, image-buying, outstation travel costs & stay, costs of any design personnel hired by client for the project, costs of any outsourced manpower.

Payment structure •

On confirmation of the Project: Rs. 25,000/- as a signing amount (The receipt will be provided)

On approval of the concept: 50% of the total production cost (The itemized quotation of the total production cost will be provided for a formal

approval from the client. The receipts will be provided as well.) •

A month before the show date: 30% of the total production cost (The receipt will be provided)

On completion of installation of the exhibition space: remaining 20% of the total production cost (The receipt will be provided)

All rest of the payments for event merchandise production (e.g. Handouts / Flyers) will require a purchase order from the client and will be done against a bill, on 100% advance basis.
