Our Buster range of rugs have many features, such as the elasticated shoulder gusset, elasticated “snug fit” neck cover, padded tail flap, deep cut, and the technology behind the scenes to create the perfect rug. BUSTINO RANGE (Dual purpose - turnout or stable use) - This range has all the same fabulous features, cut and design as the Buster range, except the elasticated shoulder gusset has been omitted. We feel that there are a lot of different sized and shaped horses, and some do not need the elasticated shoulder gusset which has enabled us to make a quality rug but at a lower price point. Rug sizing - how to measure: Measure your horse from the centre of the chest to the furthest point of the hind quarters nearly to the tail, especially for turnouts. Rug jargon: The letter D refers to the Denier of the rug fabric – the higher the denier the stronger the fabric. Ballistic Nylon and Nylon outer materials are amongst the most expensive, durable and best for turnout rugs. Rug weights (i.e. 450g) are expressed in grams – the higher the warmer.
Measure the circumference of your horse’s leg to find out how much bone your horse has. Measure the front and hind legs, this helps us advise on the sizing of horse boots.
