REPRESENTATION OF HORSE l agree that I am responsible for the correct representation of this horse in the owner’s statement in the catalog, additional announcements at the sale and in conversation with potential or eventual buyers. Representations may include, but are not limited to training, disposition, soundness for the advertised purpose, vices, etc. I agree that I have a continuing duty to respond to the buyer, after the sale, in the event of a dispute over my representation of this horse until any dispute is resolved.

DRUGS & MEDICATION I warrant that this horse has not been given drugs to alter soundness or temperament. I agree that I must disclose if any drug or medication is being administered to this horse for the maintenance of any condition.

DISCLOSURES l agree to notity Sale Management in writing, of any irregularities, blemishes, unsoundness or defects of any kind, prior to the sale and hereby authorize Loma Livestock, the Auctioneer or Announcer to print in the catalog or announce such irregularities, blemishes, unsoundness or defects before the horse is sold.

PRIVATE SALES Absolutely no private sales in the yards, at the preview or any other time before the auction. All horses brought to the sale must be consigned and go through our auction ring. Any horses “no sold” in the ring but sold outside are expected to report it to the office. We will leave it up to the integrity of the seller to make sure this happens so the seller will be welcomed back to the sale.

WITHDRAWAL I agree that I will not withdraw any horse consigned, unless the withdrawal is accompanied by a veterinarian’s certificate acceptable to Sale Management, in which case withdrawal shall be permitted at no additional charge, other than forfeiture of the $150 consignment fee. The veterinarian’s statement should be specific as to the nature of the horse’s problem. Should such a withdrawal occur without an approved veterinarian’s certificate, l agree to pay Loma Livestock $500 as withdrawal penalty in addition to the consignment fee. In the event that a consignment is withdrawn from the sale due to being sold prior to the consigned sale date, I agree to pay Loma Livestock liquidated damages in addition to the consignment fee.

Liquidated damages shall be the greater of $500 or 8% (eight percent) of either (a) the actual selling price of the consignment as verified with the buyer, or (b) in the event actual selling price is not provided to Loma Livestock within 10 days of the withdrawal, 8% (eight percent) of the value of the consignment as determined by Sale Management. All liquidated damages shall be in addition to the consignment fee.

PAYMENT FOR HORSES Loma Livestock will mail checks to consignors no sooner than 3 days and no later than 10 days from the completion of the horse sale at Loma Livestock. Unless there has been dispute or claim trom the buyer, for a serious soundness problem which may have existed prior to the sale, misrepresentation, fraud or breach of warranty, until such dispute or claim is resolved and the proceeds of the sale have been received by Loma Livestock. The responsibility to resolve such a dispute is strictly between the buyer and the seller. An agent and/or veterinarian acting on behalf of Loma Livestock will help mediate any dispute, but accepts no legal responsibility in doing so, and his/her decision will be final.

WARRANTY There is no implied warranty made by auctioneer or Loma Livestock as to the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any animal in the sale. The seller (consignor and/or trainer) is the responsible party for all representations, warranties, and guarantees expressed or implied concerning the condition of any horse. The seller agrees to hold Loma Livestock LLC and anyone acting or behalf of Loma Livestock LLC, harmless from all loss, cost anc expense arising from illness, injury or death of such animal, or loss or damage to property, and injury or death of persons, caused by themselves, their agents, or employees, or by the animal, subsequent to the time of purchase.

Sancho 2020 Gelding | Grade Consignor: Hyrum Hatcher - Blanding, UT | 435-429-8861

Sancho was started late into his 3 yr old year. Since then he has been a ranch horse used on ranches from Rifle CO, to Blanding UT. He has ran yearlings down and led them off the desert. He can be roped off of in the branding pen. He’s been a heck of a ranch horse for me and would for dang near anyone. He’s not a kids horse by any means. He’d make any cowboy a good ranch horse and he has been started in the arena sorting and running them down and roping them. Fantastic to shoe, and has had 5 or 6 sets of shoes.

C.J. stands 15 HH and weights 1250+. He has been used on a ranch his whole life, used to pack in and out of hunting camps, and has been used by the grandkids at play days and gymkana’s. He is 19 yrs old but has had very limited using the last 8 yrs and is a very clean legged, easy keeper with a lot of miles left in him. If you want a solid dependable horse that you can trust here is a good candidate.

Consignor: Grant Edinger Agent/Trainer: Brandan Stewart - Meeker, CO | 970-756-5000 Northern Lights is a 16 HH, 8 yr old Thoroughbred gelding that is gentle and easy to ride. He can be a little nervous, and unsure at times, but nothing that really causes any problems. He is safe to ride, and gentle to be around, can be laid off for weeks and is the same. Owners just don’t have time for him and aren’t getting him ridden. He is a little thin right now, but has a good frame to put some pounds on. With a little riding and some feed this could be a big, pretty horse that can get a job done.

Bay Gun is a 15 HH 5 yr old that is a little behind, but shows some real potential, and seems very trainable. He was brought to me (Brandan Stewart) for sale prep.

I have had him for a short time and he is making some real progress, he is gentle and easy to saddle and ride. He was very green, but had been ridden a little when he arrived and he has really progressed. He may be a grade horse but somewhere in his lineage there is some real class…he can break at the pole, lift his shoulder and move his feet like a good one should be able to do. He can be a little spooky on the ground, but not dangerous at all. This horse could be really nice; he’s made correct, has a good mind, and moves like the good ones do.

Rogan has the perfect balance between whoa and go. He has a great walk, trot, canter. He gives vertically and laterally to the bridle. He’s started on shoulder and hip yields. He rates great to your seat for stops, transitions and collection. Rogan loves the trails. He has no trouble crossing whatever is in front of him. I have used him for beginner lessons as well. He stand quiet to saddle, bridle, picks up his feet, loads, bathes, ties, etc. He is very easy to get along with. He is UTD on deworming, vaccines and shoeing (Safeguard and 5way plus wnv) His teeth were inspected and he didn’t require a float. Rogan is 6 panel N/N. I am more than happy to help arrange shipping. This sharp-looking gelding stands 15.1 hands and is built soggy and correct. He was purchased with the understanding that he had papers, but unfortunately he does not.

He had 60 days of professional training as a 2-year-old when we bought him and was then turned out to grow. Since then, he’s only been ridden a handful of times and hasn’t been ridden in about a year, so he will need a tune-up before going back to work. Good-minded, well put together, and ready for someone to take him in the direction of their choice.

She’s quick and a fast learner. This girl will step out and cover country with no hesitation. She’s respectful, loves cows and loves to work. She’s had a couple of foals, is low on the pecking order, and is easy to get along with. No drama and not a marish mare. She does have some go to her, so probably not a true beginners horse, but she’s never been anything but kind and she does have some fancy buttons. No known health issues. She wears rockers on her fronts and has had clean x-rays. Just needs a job and some exercise. Ride her or breed her!

He’s also spent time in the feedlot doing everything from working gates to sorting and shipping trucks.

KATNISS 2016 Mare | Grade

Consignor: Carrie Johnson - Rifle, CO | 970-260-0982 2016 Grade Bay Mare, 14.2H - Selling as grade but can be registered APHA. Katniss is as versatile as they come. She’s been patterned on the barrels, can go left or right, and has a lot of speed. She’s very athletic and turny, but needs a bit more work on rate at the barrels. She’s been used in gymkhana events and makes a smoking flag run! No gate issues. She’s been used for doctoring and branding calves and she’s very cowy with plenty of try. She has made many trips to the mountain, and if you want a horse that walks out and will cover some miles, Katniss is your dream. With her athleticism and shorter height, she also shows real potential as a sorting prospect. No known health issues, had her teeth done last summer. She can be a little buddy sour if left with the herd too long but she will ride out alone quietly. Overall, she’s a handy little mare.

Digger, 14’3 HH and 1150 lbs, is an own son of the great Diggers Rest. Sire of 84 money-earners with total records of $232,546. Digger has primarily been a ranch horse but has also been used at play days and gymkhanas by the grandkids. We’ve hauled him to rope on, primarily on the heel side. After 5-6 yrs off from roping, I recently took him to our local weekly rodeo (Rimrock) and he was able to get us a couple checks. He would make a good calf horse as well and is still very trainable and enjoyable to be around. This is a solid older horse, that is still in great shape, and can get you to the pay window.

brand inspector once their horse is on site and has been back tagged. (Brand Inspectors will be at the dock house on the north side of the yard Friday evening and Saturday morning of the sale).
