Wow - what a great year we have had.
There have been a record number of people utilising the Complex and it has been great to see everyone. We are hoping to continue to build on this interest and welcome your feedback on activities you would like to see offered at the Complex (contact details listed above). There is also a program of continuous improvements planned to upgrade the facility and provide a modern environment for your use. The success of our centre is due to the contribution of many - the generosity of our sponsors, the participation of our members, the skills of our tradies, and the immense number of hours provided by our volunteers. Thank you to all - we are extremely grateful for your support. We wish you all a safe and enjoyable time during the holiday season and look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
*** MARK YOUR CALENDAR - 9th February 2019 *** Great community event to start the 2019 year - the inaugural Mangakahia Axemens Carnival After a long absence, we are very fortunate to have the Northland Axemen’s Association able to again provide a display of woodchopping skills in Mangakahia - a great tradition that was a regular event in earlier years. Bring the family and enjoy a great day out, catch up with friends and whanau, check out the incredible talent in our community and support our stallholders, try your luck at Tug-o-War or other fun competitions, and enjoy the fabulous sounds provided by Ngati Hine FM.
