It therefore came with a catchy tagline of 'Why should boys have all the fun' and so obviously grabbed the attention of women who had believed in getting all fun under the sun. Hero Honda Activa Pleasure is in the same league of scooterette as Scooty Pep+ and other than mileage there isn't really much offering from the Pleasure as compared to a Pep+. In fact, there are many features that draws one to the Pleasure which include aluminum cast rear grab rail, multi-reflector headlight; trendy-looking muffler; body-colored mirrors; chic multi-reflector indicators; broader seat for comfortable ride experience, novel oval-shaped instrument cluster; trendy tail lights; low body weight and big under-seat luggage space. The Honda Pleasure runs on a 102cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine that produces a max power of 7bhp @ 7000 rpm and maximum torque of 7.85Nm @ 6000 rpm. The self-start option makes it so convenient for the weaker sex to start the scooter easily. The scooter can go to a top speed of 77 kmph and clocks 12.11 seconds for reaching 0-60 kmph speed. For enhanced safety during ride, the Hero Honda Pleasure comes loaded with internal expanding shoetype braking system and sports a VTS (Variomatic Transmission System). As regards ride comfort the Honda Pleasure comes with spring-loaded hydraulic damper fork suspension in the front and a sidefeatured swing arm with spring loaded hydraulic damper suspension system in the rear. The 1240mm wheelbase gives good steadiness and comfort to the rider and more rubber with puncture-resistant tuff-up tube adds to joy ride on the Pleasure. Additionally, the Honda Pleasure comes with big under seat luggage storage which can accommodate full-sized helmet besides some petty stuff. The small glove box under the handlebar offers room for toolkit and stuff and the footboard can be used to carry day-to-day vegetables. The scooter comes in many attractive color options including orange, grayish silver, mauve and sea green. The ABS body lowers kerb weight of the scooter and thereby giving good mileage. Pleasure offers the best-in-class mileage of 50 plus per liter with an average of 40 kmpl for a beginner too. Hero Honda launched Pleasure first in 2006 with a price tag of about Rs. 36,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). But there have been many revisions in price since then.
