THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VICTORIA FALLS AIRPORT THE GAME CHANGER The new Victoria Falls International Airport is a testament to the development of Zimbabwe's aviation development. The airport dubbed the “Game Changer” gives the domestic, regional and international network offering a fresh dimension with a modern service offering, which is at par with all international standards and requirements. Currently the airport is served by scheduled domestic and regional flights: SAA, Air Zimbabwe, British Airways C o m a i r, A i r N a m i b i a , Fa s t Je t Zimbabwe, Ethiopian Airlines and charter flights from various parts of the world.

The new Victoria Falls International Airport now boasts of: Ÿ New 4km long by 60km wide runway and associated taxiways. Ÿ Apron area with a capacity to handle category 2 Aircrafts in the class of the B&$& and A346 and/or equivalent; Ÿ A new state of the art international passenger terminal building to handle 1,2 million passengers annually; Ÿ The refurbished domestic terminal with a capacity of 300, 00 passengers per annum. Ÿ New state of the art Control Tower and Fire Station.
