RANGITATA RAFTS Feel the thrill of conquering some of New Zealand's most exciting and scenic stretches of white water when you join Rangitata Rafts on this incredible New Zealand rafting experience. It’s the ideal adventure stop when travelling between Christchurch and Lake Tekapo, Queenstown or Dunedin. We also offer day trips out of Christchurch. Start the day at our back country lodge meeting your fellow rafters and guides and then it’s 2 hours on the river with time to enjoy mind blowing Lord of the Rings scenery, exciting grade 5 rapids and optional swimming in the calmer sections. After rafting you’ll head back to the lodge for hot showers and a delicious bbq. Although no previous experience is necessary rafting does require a reasonable standard of fitness and there is a minimum age of 13. Bring swimwear and a towel, all river gear provided.
