El Questro Wilderness Park

Self Contained

El Questro Wilderness Park is one of the world’s most unique holiday destinations, providing a truly Australian holiday experience. A million acres in size, El Questro is located in Western Australia’s untamed Kimberley, and extends for approximately 80 kilometres into the heart of the region, most of which has never been explored. It is one of the last true frontiers. Go barramundi fishing, set out on a horse trek, or explore remote areas by helicopter that only a lucky few have ever seen. A day spent with a local Ranger will introduce you to a variety of animals, birds and maybe even a saltwater crocodile! El Questro Wilderness Park offers three types of accommodation, each different in style and budget, including Emma Gorge Resort Tented Cabins, Station Township Bungalows and Riverside Camping. At El Questro Homestead, you’ll be immersed in luxury, juxtaposed by a backdrop of rugged Kimberley landscape. The Homestead is an exclusive retreat perched atop the magnificent Chamberlain Gorge.

Catering to a maximum of twelve discerning guests, privacy is assured and friendly staff provide the highest standards of service and cuisine. Guests are encouraged to choose from a selection of dining locations, from a private cliff top to the Homestead’s spacious verandas. Wherever you decide to dine, it will almost always be situated under a canopy of stars. Getting there: El Questro is situated 110 Kilometres west of Kununurra by road. Hiring a 4WD is strongly recommended for the duration of your stay, air and 4WD transfers are also available from Kununurra. Visitors to the property are required to purchase a Wilderness Park permit of AUD$17.50 upon arrival at the property. *Homestead includes all dining and beverages, selected tours and El Questro Wilderness Park Permit. Additional charges apply for Cellar Master List.
