Liza Sideways Sacque The interesting construction of this 1920s cardigan makes it fun to knit. First, the body of the cardigan is worked from side to side instead of the usual bottom up, then stitches are picked up along the bottom edge to create a hem and along the top edge to create a yoked collar. The sleeves are also worked from side to side, with stitches picked up along the bottoms for cuffs. Remember, garments with ribbons should only be worn when baby is supervised. If you prefer, leave the ribbons off and let baby wear the sweater open.
