GOLF NEWS 2019 MEMBER – MEMBER TOURNAMENT On July 20th & 21st, 38 Lake Arrowhead golf members played in the 2019 Member – Member Golf Tournament. Always competitive, this year’s tournament was no exception. Brian Schell and Chris Benway won the low gross score honors! Brad Jones & Herb Ernst won the overall low net score. The Member – Member Golf Tournament is an annual event where golf club members form 2-person teams to compete for trophies and prizes plus the honor of being named

Tournament Champions for the year. The tournament format is known by several names (four ball, best ball, and better ball) but whatever it is called, it essentially requires each team member to play their own ball. At the end of each hole, the lowest individual score is recorded as the team score. This year’s tournament was divided into 4 flights: First, Second, Third and Ladies.
