The Consequences Ritual Project A collection of figures that symbolise a family, this family being ‘The Consequences.’ Each relating to a different weight of problem and the effects the may hold. The different weights and textures of each member make them inviting to pick up and manoeuvre.
My ritual comes from a childhood phrase that has stuck with me and my family, it came about when I was around seven years old. My Mother and I were on a day out that ended in me getting dropped off at my friends house, we where heading towards the last stop before I could tear it up in my mates garden with toy swords. The last stop however happened to be nail salon, as we entered I was given strict instructions to not touch anything. However, while my mother had her head turned and me being the charmingly devilish age I was, I quickly decided to pick up the closest bottle of pink nail polish and proceeded to pour it all over myself. Gasps from the salon caused my mothers head to turn. ‘Right, that’s it, you’re not going to see Charlie!’ ‘Why not?!?’ ‘Because you have to live with the consequences’
‘But I don’t want to live with The Consequences, I want to live with you and Dad’
MY RITUAL
1. Turn the block to mould the mould for the final 2. Drill holes around half the shape 3. Heat up the vacuum former 4. Prep for forming 5. Vacuum form 6. Drill holes in either half so the halves can fit together 7. Attach loose piece of metal to both ends to avoid it moving and setting in a visible place. This is done to strengthen the neck of the concrete structure 8. Attach the halves together with nuts and bolts and pour in either concrete or silicon

Twin SCP Live Project The Twin table is designed for small scale living, it’s designed as a table that is used for both purposes, the functional side and display side. The shelving like set up creates a slightly behind shoulder display area which would otherwise be an awkward surface or wasted space.

The Purdie Isokon Donkey Live Project This brief was to design a high quality Donkey storage unit that’s suitable for current lifestyles. The design needed to be able to be produced using Plywood and CNC routing. It must be narrowed down to a specific area. Most donkey’s are targeted to lounge areas. I wanted to try to create a donkey that ventures out from this area. I decided to go down the path of a drummer’s companion.
