2011年法國音樂大賞「年度獨奏家」傾情演出 以音樂表達情感，猶勝千言萬語。鋼琴奇才李斯特的第一鋼琴協奏曲 浪漫澎湃；拉威爾之左手鋼琴協奏曲是為第一次世界大戰喪失右手的 奧地利鋼琴家維根斯坦而寫，震撼人心。薩馬尤是次香港首演將與 香港小交響樂團演出這兩首精彩絕倫的作品，必令觀眾難以忘懷。同 場還有特別嘉賓—女中音妮科利奇在法雅充滿西班牙色彩的《魔法師 之戀》芭蕾組曲中獻唱，如夢似幻。 享譽國際的法國鋼琴家薩馬尤20歲即獲得法國朗-蒂博國際大賽獎項， 從此踏足多個重要舞臺，如香榭麗舍劇院和倫敦域摩堂；並經常與歐 洲著名樂團合作，包括法國國家樂團、法國電台愛樂及倫敦愛樂等。 他今年一月於倫敦域摩堂演奏李斯特作品，被英國《衛報》形容為 「流暢而具力量，極懾人的演繹」。 A winner of the Long-Thibaud Competition and Victoires de la Musique Classique 2011’s “Instrumental Soloist of the Year”, Bertrand Chamayou is one of the brightest rising stars in France. His newest album became Gramophone’s Editor’s Choice, who compared him with the legendary Cortot and called the CD “an outstanding release in every way”. His recent Wigmore Hall début took critics’ and audience’s breath away: The Guardian recognized him as “a force to be reckoned with” for his “formidable” Liszt, “fastidious grandeur”, “fierce energy” and “technical wizardary”; The Independent described his playing as “magical and colourful”, “setting the bar high” for the celebrations of Liszt’s 200th Anniversary this year.

Don’t miss Chamayou’s HK début with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, where he will play two piano concertos by Liszt and Ravel. The stunning mezzo-soprano Milijana Nikolic, who sang in Opera Hong Kong’s production of Don Carlo with Hong Kong Sinfonietta in 2008, returns to delight the Hong Kong audience with Falla’s Ballet Suite from Love, the Magician.
