Sarah Howe Sarah Howe is a British poet, academic and editor. Born in Hong Kong to an English father and Chinese mother, she moved to England as a child. Her first book, Loop of Jade, won the T. S. Eliot Prize and The Sunday Times / PFD Young Writer of the Year Award, and was shor tlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. Having previously held fellowships at Cambridge University and Harvard's Radcliffe Institute, she is currently a Leverhulme Fellow at University College London. 莎拉.賀,英國詩人、學者及編輯。父親是英國人,母親 是華人。她出生於香港,兒時移居至英國。她第一本詩作 《Loop of Jade》 得 T. S. Eliot 詩歌大獎、The Sunday Times / PFD 年度新秀作家獎,曾被提名為 Forward Prize 最佳首部 詩集獎。曾任劍橋大學及哈佛拉德克利夫學院的研究員,目 前是倫敦大學學院 Leverhulme 研究員。 是次莎拉.賀訪港活動由香港大學文學院及二世紀講座系列 贊助。

Adam Johnson Adam Johnson is a Professor of English with emphasis in creative writing at Stanford University. Winner of a Whiting Award and Fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts and the American Academy in Berlin, he is the author of several books, including Fortune Smiles, which won the 2015 National Book Award, and The Orphan Master’s Son, which was awarded the 2013 Pulitzer Prize.
