What does it mean to get
This a piece of my childhood that got lost. When I was little, I used to believe that some critters would live in kettles and tea pots. I believe there were other things, and thanks to those silly imaginations my childhood wasn't so boring; although most of those were about something being under my bed. Sad truth is, I don't remember any of them aside from the kettle inhabitants and my extreme fear towards zombies. What protected and lived through my childhood was gone. They were so dear to me at one point. How did they get "lost" so easily?
If those abstract concepts were visible as an actual live being, would they still have gotten "lost" so easily?
But what are things that we “really lost”, and how do I show this? Dead branch may look lost, but it’s not what we lost. Imaginary friends were lost, but they are my loss, not other’s.
