welcome Hello and welcome to our autumn/ winter 2019 programme! I’m Ellen, the Venue Manager here at The Hive. My role is varied and involves anything from coordinating hire of the venue to contacting someone if the building has sprung a leak! We’re very pleased that local artist and The Hive trustee, Jamila Walker, is the third artist to create a brochure cover in her own unique and eyecatching style, depicting one of our Buzzy Beats workshops. You may have seen that over the summer we were awarded funding by The National Lottery Community Fund to run well-being projects across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. You can find out more about these projects throughout this brochure. This is an exciting time for our venue with a brand new folk season, creative workshops, exhibitions and more. Come and see us at The Hive this autumn/winter! Ellen Green Venue Manager at The Hive
